VISAGE Report Released Grading Voter Integrity Legislation in Texas and Kansas

Today, Look Ahead America’s Research Group released reports on two pieces of voter integrity legislation, Texas H.B. 3080 and Kansas H.B. 2183.

The report made the following conclusion about Texas’s effort:

Texas House Bill 3080 aims to remedy voter fraud vulnerabilities in the current mail-in ballot process. While this bill only addresses one of the six Look Ahead America policy objectives for voter integrity reform, it likely will become part of a larger voter integrity reform bill which the Research Group will subsequently evaluate. Therefore, the Research Group only graded it on that area it addresses and awarded it a B for being a good start and leading the nation on a vital reform. Adding a thumbprint to the ballot is a great first step, although much work remains to bring this score up to an A+.

This was the conclusion regarding Kansas’ effort:

While Kansas’ House Bill 2183 aims to do something to address voter integrity, it only addresses one of the six Look Ahead America policy objectives for voter integrity reform. The fact that the Kansas legislators have introduced even one of these policy objectives seems promising, but more work remains to actually restore voter confidence and reform existing election laws for increased security. As with FL S.B. 90, while it does something, which beats nothing, Kansas’ voters deserve much better from their state government. Overall, H.B. 2183 scores a D- in terms of overall effectiveness. Passing, but barely.

LAA Announces Lawsuit Against Stark County Elections Board Regarding Dominion Voting Equipment

Canton, Ohio – Today, Look Ahead America announced their lawsuit against the Stark County Board of Elections for violating Ohio’s Open Meetings Act in their consideration of the purchase of Dominion voting equipment. The suit was filed in the Court of Common Pleas in Stark County on behalf of Look Ahead America and Start County Resident Merry Lynne Rini of Massillon.

Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, made the following statement:

The process engaged in by the Board of Elections was not transparent and open to the public. Right before voting on the contract with Dominion, the board excluded the public for eighteen minutes from their discussion and deliberations. Nothing necessitated the public’s exclusion. And for the next months thereafter, they continued to exclude the public when discussing the contract with Dominion. That’s not consistent with both the letter and spirit of Ohio’s Open Meetings Act and we are going to get justice for the residents of Stark County Ohio.

Further, we are determined to ensure that any voting equipment purchased relies on open source software and hardware. This will restore trust, lower election costs, and create home state jobs for Clark County elections.

LAA Research Group Releases Voter Integrity Legislation Tracking Report

Today, LAA’s Research Group published the initial release of the Voter Integrity Legislation Tracking Report. From the report:

We documented a total of 1,143 bills related to election reforms across all fifty states. Both Democrats and Republicans introduced these bills in their state houses and state senates. We had initially used the Brennan Center’s state voting bills tracker as our guide, although we improved upon their findings by including the bills’ sponsors, the sponsors’ political parties, status of the bill (including as of date), and the link to the actual bill.

Look Ahead America Rates Florida SB 90: “D”, Passing, but Just Barely

Today, Look Ahead America released its first VISAGE report designed to analyze voter integrity reforms. The subject of this report is Florida’s Senate Bill 90.

The Voter Integrity Summary, Analysis, Grading and Evaluation (VISAGE) Report has four major components: Summarizing the overall bill, Analyzing each section of the bill, Grading each section of the bill using Look Ahead America’s six objectives for voter integrity reform, and Evaluating the overall bill.

Per the report, SB 90 got Ds and Fs by most of the VISAGE measures except for one area: it bans outside funding for election operations with the exception of allowing the use of a location for a polling location, such as a church or a social organization donating their premises.

The report concludes:

While FL S.B. 90 does something to address voter integrity – arguably better than doing nothing – the voters of Florida are deserving of higher standards from their elected officials in addressing voter fraud and election integrity.

LAA Announces Look Ahead Arizona: $2 Million Patriotic Voter Registration Drive

Scottsdale, AZ – Today, Look Ahead America marks the launch of Look Ahead Arizona (LAAZ), an intensive voter registration and community organizing effort in the Canyon State.

The field program has a budget of $2 million and will register, educate, and turnout to vote disaffected, patriotic Americans of rural and blue-collar backgrounds. The program will deploy twenty-five full-time field staffers and hundreds of volunteers throughout the state, and includes teams dedicated to helping First Nation, Black, and Latino communities register to vote.

The effort is made possible thanks to a generous contribution from Arizona entrepreneur and military veteran Jim Lamon.

Look Ahead America Executive Director Matt Braynard released the following statement:

“The progressive left’s dominance of voter registration in this country ends today. LAAZ will reach the lost demographic of America First patriots who have been ignored by our nation’s political institutions that hold them in disdain. Our #1 job is to make sure these American voices are heard by getting them engaged in the political process. I especially want to thank Jim Lamon for his support of this project. His wisdom in understanding the need to invest in the participation of the democratic process among our fellow Americans, those that have suffered the most at the hands of the country’s political elites, sets an example we hope other donors follow in their states.”

Jim Lamon also made the following statement:

“While I have been blessed to build an incredibly successful businesses that employs thousands of Americans here in Arizona and around the country, I haven’t forgotten where I came from. I grew up working on a small family farm and relied on an ROTC scholarship to go to college before serving in the Army. These new voters we are going to register and turnout to vote – I know them. I grew up with them, went to church with them, and was raised by them to become the man I am today. They are my fellow countrymen and my family. Their struggles were once my struggles. We will not allow these patriots to continue to be ignored by our nation’s ruling establishment that has put corporate, globalists, and special interests ahead them. Look Ahead Arizona will fight to make the American Dream their dream again, and I am honored to have the opportunity to make this happen.”

LAA’s Voter Integrity Project Releases The Georgia Report

On July 30, LAA’s Voter Integrity Project revised the report based on helpful feedback from outside groups that reviewed our data, provided at the bottom of this announcement.

Today Look Ahead America released the long-awaited Georgia Report documenting the illegal ballots cast in that state’s 2020 General Election.

A non-redacted version is being made available to government officials and select journalists and other individuals upon request.

Matt Braynard, Look Ahead America’s executive director and founder of the Voter Integrity Project made the following statement:

We are very glad to release this report and I could not be prouder of my team at Look Ahead America that produced it. This effort is the result of hundreds of hours of work of over forty individuals and nearly $100,000 in crowd-sourced funding.

Our conclusion remains: We prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the deserved winner of the state of Georgia’s presidential electoral votes in the 2020 General Election is unknowable.

We look forward to releasing similar reports for Wisconsin and Arizona in the coming month.

I also look forward to this summer when our research group will turn its attention to identifying ineligible individuals in the voter databases of states that have elections this year: Louisiana, New Jersey, and Virginia.

I am grateful to our donors who made this possible and encourage our supporters to continue to contribute and volunteer to help us in our effort to complete this work.

LAA Helps Secure Another Victory Against “Black Box” Voting Equipment in Stark County, Ohio

Washington DC— Yesterday, the Stark County Commissioners voted to reject proceeding with the purchase of black box voting equipment. This follows Look Ahead America’s public call to action against proceeding with this purchase on February 3.

LAA Executive Director Matt Braynard issued the following statement:

I am grateful to the elected officials of Stark County for heeding the calls to press the ‘pause’ button on proceeding with this purchase, and am even more grateful to the many citizens of Stark County for making their voices heard.

The next step for Stark County is the need for public hearings on the dangers of black box voting equipment and the benefits of open-source alternatives for restoring faith in election integrity, lowering costs, and growing local jobs.

This is the second recent major victory for Look Ahead America’s effort to eliminate black box voting equipment following the state of Louisiana’s withdrawal of a $100 million contract for black box equipment last week.

Stark County Board of Elections can be reached as follows: Bill Smith at 330.451.7359 or bcsmith@starkcountyohio.gov; Janet Weir Creighton at 330.451.7376 or jwcreighton@starkcountyohio.gov; Richard Regula at 330.451.7370 or rregula@starkcountyohio.gov.

Find LAA’s original statement on Stark County’s proposed purchase here: https://lookaheadamerica.org/stark/.

WHAT IS “BLACK BOX” VOTING EQUIPMENT? Black box voting equipment runs on software and hardware design that is a corporate secret. The source code of the software is generally unavailable for public and government official inspection. Black box voting equipment also locks a client into using only the original manufacturer for service of that equipment.

WHAT IS OPEN SOURCE? Open source is software or hardware with source code or a design that anyone can inspect, modify, and enhance. Learn more about open source here: https://opensource.com/resources/what-open-source.

LAA Responds to SECOND Dominion Letter

Washington DC – On February 26, Dominion Voting Systems’ lawyers sent a second letter harassing Look Ahead America Executive Director Matt Braynard.

Matt Braynard responded with the following statement:

I would suggest that we are becoming pen pals, but I’m afraid that would result in another frivolous demand for retraction because these letters are not, in fact, written in pen.

My lawyers at Dhillon Law Group submitted an appropriate response and I’ll let that letter speak for itself.

And I will continue to speak out about black box voting equipment and Look Ahead America will continue to lead the way in getting it banned in the United States.

MATT BRAYNARD is the former Director of Data and Strategy for President Trump’s 2016 Campaign, was the director and founder of the Voter Integrity Project in the aftermath of the 2020 general election, and is the founder and executive director of Look Ahead America, a 501c3 organization dedicated to voter integrity, patriotic issues, and registering, educating, and turning out to vote disaffected, patriotic Americans.

LAA Declares TOTAL VICTORY at CPAC 2021

ORLANDO, FLORIDA — Today, Look Ahead America is declaring total victory at CPAC 2021 for the following reasons:

• By far the most diverse and abundant candy selection at the conference.

• According to the conference’s technical team, LAA drew more visitors to their booth than any other exhibitor.

• More photos (by far!) were taken at the LAA booth than any other exhibit thanks to our Surfer Trump statue that was loaned to us at no cost by artist Tommy Zegan.

• Our Surfer Trump statue broke the internet and sent leftist and the mainstream media into a meltdown.

• Look Ahead America’s Executive Director Matt Braynard did media hits at nearly every show on radio row.

• LAA Uncancelled Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and she gave the best speech of CPAC to a packed room despite the CPAC app’s event description mysteriously deleting mention of her attendance the day of the event.

• LAA was the only CPAC sponsor to reach out to dissident conservatives by also exhibiting at America First PAC.

• LAA had the most energetic team working the booth and spreading the word about our organization throughout the conference. Our red T-shirted activists were everywhere.

LAA Executive Director Matt Braynard responded with the following statement: “This was our first conference we’ve ever attended and we’re grateful to our support, volunteers, and donors who helped us win CPAC this year. We look forward to returning next year with an even bigger presence and going 2 and 0.”
