Braynard on Fighting Corporate Censorship: “We have a plan, and it’s time to act!”

Washington DC— Look Ahead America has released its plan for fighting corporate censorship and is calling on patriots everywhere to join the effort.

“Social media networks, tech companies, and financial institutions are not entitled to tax dollars paid by citizens whom they censor, blacklist, and deplatform for engaging in legal speech and political activity,” said Look Ahead America Executive Director Matt Braynard. “So we’re calling on citizens to lobby state legislatures to declare government money and contracts off limits to such companies.”

“We’ve released a list of policy objectives to guide legislation on this issue covering everything from marketing spending, technology contracts, and divestment. And we’re training citizens on how to be grassroots lobbyists to advocate for these reforms at the state capitols.”

Look Ahead America will be hosting its first free, online-training session on how citizens can become grassroots lobbyist on Wednesday, January 27, and has released a copy of the policy objectives on its website, lookaheadamerica.org/speech.

MATT BRAYNARD is the former Director of Data and Strategy for President Trump’s 2016 Campaign, was the director and founder of the Voter Integrity Project in the aftermath of the 2020 general election, and is the founder and executive director of Look Ahead America, a 501c3 organization dedicated to voter integrity, patriotic issues, and registering, educating, and turning out to vote disaffected, patriotic Americans.

Request for Ideas on Election Integrity Reform

Look Ahead America will be releasing our Patriot Action on Voter Integrity Reform on Monday, February 1, 2021. This effort will provide guidance, training, and organization to citizens of each state to advocate for these changes with their state legislatures.

We have assembled a team of experts in the field to help us develop our policy guidance, and we are eager to hear from you on what your ideas are for fighting for this reform. Please visit our page on Voter Integrity Reform to make your suggestions: https://lookaheadamerica.org/patriot-action-voter-integrity-reform/.

Voter Integrity Reform Policy Objectives

Voter Integrity Reform:

State Policy Objectives

The 2020 General Election exposed many flaws and raised doubts about the way states conducted their elections. This has the dangerous impact of undermining the public’s confidence in future election outcomes. Look Ahead America’s state policy objectives are intended to eliminate these flaws and restore faith in our electoral system.

These objectives were informed by the lessons learned by the Voter Integrity Project in the aftermath of the 2020 election, the decades of election administration experience of Look Ahead America’s team of experts, and hundreds of ideas suggested by the public.

Each of these policy objectives satisfies three key requirements: (1) eliminating vulnerabilities in our election system, (2) practicality of implementation, and (3) harmony with current state and federal laws and established legal precedence.

1. Thumbprint Authentication of Absentee Ballots.

A single machine-readable thumbprint on the affidavit envelope of an absentee ballot will limit the ability of an individual other than the voter of record to cast that ballot. Multiple ballots cast by a single individual will be easily detectible.

When paired with a thumbprint requirement on the absentee ballot request or as part of the voter registration process, it practically eliminates fraudulent absentee ballots. This process also eliminates many of the problems with ballot signature verification, witness signatures, and unscrupulous ballot harvesting.

The state will encrypt the captured thumbprints as alphanumeric values with a one-way hash using a secure key, and will be prohibited from sharing raw thumbprint data with any other government agency.

2. Mandated and Public Voter List Hygiene.

The state will be required to engage in several processes to ensure the list of registered voters contains only those legally eligible to cast ballots.

Further, whether or not these processes result in a voter record’s removal, the findings of these processes will be reflected in the publicly available voter list (not applicable to Social Security numbers). This will allow citizens or organizations to use this information to take additional steps to ensure only legal ballots are cast.

These processes will include, but are not limited to:

Shared Interstate Residency Databases. The state will cooperate with other states to build a secure, transactional database to detect when an individual has registered in another state or taken other steps that would indicate a loss of residency and therefor voter privileges. This database will rely on a match of name, date of birth and the last four digits of the Social Security number. Any records matched through this process must be publicly flagged in the state’s voter database.

Non-Citizen Matching Using the USCIS’s SAVE Database. The state will take advantage of the USCIS’s SAVE database to flag non-citizens and remove them from the voter list. Any records matched through this process must be publicly flagged in the state’s voter database.

National Change of Address, Social Security Death Index, and Master Death File Matching. The state will match the voter list against the NCOA permanent moves, SSDI, and MDF on a monthly basis. Any matches will require a follow-up to ensure whether or not the voter is still eligible to cast a ballot and, if not, they will be removed from the voter list. Any records matched through this process must be publicly flagged in the state’s voter database.

3. Ban on the Use of “Black Box” Voting Equipment.

“Black Box” voting equipment uses proprietary, non-public software and hardware designs, and according to a study by Princeton University, are susceptible to undetected hacking and manipulation.

The alternative is to mandate that all election equipment use open-source software and design that is available for inspection and review by the public and technology organizations to ensure the validity and accuracy of vote counting.

Open-source election software and hardware, paired with paper ballots, will remove the potential for tampering as well as the suspicion of tampering.

4. Appointment of a Citizens Elections Supervisory Committee.

The public must have assurance from those they trust that elections are conducted in accordance with the law. A Citizens Election Supervisory Committee will help restore the trust of the public in election outcomes.

The committee shall consist of trusted citizens who represent various political parties as well as non-partisan organizations. Each committee member will be granted access to the election process that is the equivalent of the state’s election director and any county election director. These representatives will have the responsibility of documenting the lawful execution of the election at every level.

5. Creation and Sufficient Funding for a Dedicated Voter Fraud Investigation Division within the State’s Attorney General’s Office.

Many states have little to no standing effort to investigate voter fraud. Dedicating a sufficient level of staffing and funding to a permanent division within the state’s attorney general’s office will help to defend the integrity of our elections.

6. Equitable Distribution of Private Contributions to Election Operations.

While private individuals and corporations may choose to sponsor improvements to election operations with direct donations of funding or material to government election agencies, these contributions may not be geographically targeted and must be equitably distributed throughout a state based on voter populations.

This restriction will only be applicable to contributions beyond a certain threshold to allow incidental contributions to continue, such as a club allowing its headquarters to be used as a polling place.

LAA Relaunched and Fighting Corporate Censorship (VIDEO)

Today, Look Ahead America’s Executive Director and Founder Matt Braynard made the following video announcement (text below):

Today, January Twentieth, 2021 is a day of great importance for our nation….

Because today is the day we are relaunching Look Ahead America, an America First platform for registering, educating, and turning out to vote disaffected, patriotic Americans, and fighting for America First causes.

I first started this organization four years ago with the help of over thirty former Trump campaign staffers. Unfortunately, I was never able to raise the funds necessary to hire staff, deploy field offices, and engage in the kind of community organizing the right so desperately needs.

I pitched this organization to some of the biggest and best-known donors and voices on the right, many of them with names you would recognize. But all of them blew me off because they didn’t understand the importance of our mission and the need for an operation like this to counter the hundreds of millions of dollars being given to progressive non-profits by globalists and tech billionaires.

I became so discouraged that I almost gave up on the organization and let or c3 status lapse.

However, during my leadership of the Voter Integrity Project, I learned something: I was looking to the wrong people for help. It wasn’t billionaires or millionaires whom I needed to connect with, it was you.

You who were among the nearly 9000 donors who stepped forward to help fund the investigation into the 2020 election.

You who took a chance on my team and supported us every day with encouragement and prayers.

And because of you, I’ve regained the belief that Look Ahead America can succeed, and there’s never been a time where it has been more necessary.

While I believe, and in fact I proved, that illegal ballots had an impact on the election, what had an even bigger impact were the millions of new progressive voters that were registered by left-wing nonprofits funded by tech oligarchs.

Look Ahead will counter that, first by deploying field staff across Virginia and Pennsylvania this year to register disaffected, Patriotic Americans, educate them on the issues that are impacting their lives, and turn them out to vote. We will grow our operations across the country over the next few years with the goal of being operational in all fifty states by 2024.

But that’s not all we’re doing.

We’re also launching Patriot Actions to train and supports citizens lobbying their state legislatures and local governments on issues that matter.

One of the most important issues for reform is election integrity, and over the next month we will be taking suggestions from you and working with experts in the field to develop the policy objectives we need to pass in our statehouses. We look forward to rolling out our Patriot Action on Voting Integrity Reform in February.

But the patriot action we are launching today is our Free Speech States initiative. This is the best way for you to fight corporate censorship, deplatforming, and employment discrimination against legal speech and constitutionally protected political activity.

The premise is simple: private corporations are entitled to do what they want on their platforms, but they aren’t entitled to enrich themselves with tax dollars paid by the people whom they are denying the exercise of free speech, political activity, and gainful employment.

The remedy is state level legislation that prevents the state or subordinate government within the state – counties, cities, et cetera – from spending money marketing on social networks that censor free speech, or contracting with technology platforms that deplatform political opponents.

This legislation would stop the state from conducting transactions through financial institutions that blacklist those with ideas they disagree with or who run legal businesses like firearms manufacturers, and it would bar any company that does business with the state from firing someone for political activities they engage in on their own time.

Finally, this legislation would compel states to divest any kind of pensions or rainy day funds from any company that engages in anti-free speech behavior.

We have Right to Work States, we have Shall Issue Concealed Permit States; together we can create Free Speech States.
The more states that become Free Speech States, the harder it will be for social media networks, technology companies, and globalist banks to ignore. And there will be one of two outcomes:

Either these companies will agree to respect legal speech and political activities, or they will forgo billions in government business – contracts that will instead go to new companies that embrace the first amendment just as surely as those ether companies embrace profit motive and wokeness. This revenue may in fact be the seed money needed to create an entire social, technical, and financial ecosystem that will eclipse the old order where Silicon Valley gets to decide what’s appropriate for you to say and what gets you unpersoned.

This is your chance to do something. And I’m not giving you any excuse not to step up. If you have no idea how to lobby you state legislature, I’ll teach you – for free. On Wednesday the 27th, from 7 PM to 10 PM we’ll have the first of many live online training sessions. Just register in advance on our website, lookaheadamerica.org/freespeech. I’ll also put you in contact with others in your state so you can work together towards our common goal.

When so many of you contributed to me, a complete stranger, to fund the Voter Integrity Project, I did everything I could to earn your trust. I conducted the research I said I would, I accounted for every penny of spending, and I didn’t take a nickel of it for myself. I am forever grateful for what we did together, and I want you to know that research has a home and will continue at Look Ahead America.

But I again need to ask for your help:

Please make a tax deductible contribution today at lookaheadamerica.org to help us fund our programs. As with the VIP, every penny will be accounted for.

Please help us lobby your state legislature to enact reforms on corporate censorship and election integrity.

Please visit out volunteer page and tell us how else you may help. And, please, keep our organization in your prayers.

I know that today will be hard on many of us, but I hope I’ve given you cause for optimism, and we’re just getting started.
Thank you for your time.

America First. America Forever.

R.E.T. Field Program: Virginia & Pennsylvania

Our primary objective is R.E.T.: Register, Educate, and Turn out to vote disaffected, patriotic Americans of rural and blue-collar backgrounds. We plan to launch by the end of the first quarter of 2021 in the Commonwealths of Virginia and Pennsylvania with field offices and professional staff who will organize these neglected communities across the state.

Our state teams will also work on voter integrity by helping to clean up voter rolls and by serving as poll watching on Election Day.

This effort will require funding and volunteers. Please help us by making a donation and/or by signing up to volunteer.
