Look Ahead America Finds Huge Discrepancies in Pennsylvania’s Official Election Records

Washington, D.C. – After comparing data on the state of Pennsylvania official website for election results against the official county election results, Look Ahead America (LAA) found a number of glaring discrepancies in these records. In several state races these surpassed the margins of victory and margins of recounts.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made a formal statement:

We have reached out to the State Open Data Officer twice for an explanation, and have not heard anything back. Why has the Department of State had these records for years and yet its officers don’t know (or won’t explain) a single one of these discrepancies?

Our goal was not to overturn any prior elections, but rather to investigate and understand the data to provide clarity and increased transparency for the general public. We did not expect the state’s official data to conflict with county sources, especially when considering that the state gets its material from the counties. This raises serious questions about the integrity and accuracy of PA election records. Worse, it raises questions about state and local races where the differences in the records surpassed the margin of victory or recount.

We hope that the counties and state seriously consider our three recommendations to improve data transparency in the report.

Look Ahead America Condemns New FL SB 7050

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America (LAA) has issued a statement opposing Florida Senate Bill 7050 (FL SB 7050) as it disempowers citizens.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made a formal statement:

If FL SB 7050 were in place in 2021, then I would not have been able to send the Florida clerks vital information that led to the conviction of Emily Jessop Bowers on three counts of double voting. On its face, this bill is undemocratic as it undermines the power of American and Floridian citizens to restore election integrity.

Worse, the bill takes away power from the Office of Election Crimes and Security to make referrals or do anything with the information that it has on election irregularities and crimes. Given that the amended bill includes these changes, it is better to shoot it down than pass a bill with one tiny improvement while making everything else worse.

Citizens, call your state senators and representatives in Florida to kill this bill!

Look Ahead America Research Results in Voter Fraud Conviction

Washington, D.C. – As a result of information submitted by Look Ahead America (LAA), Emily Jessop Bowers was convicted on Monday in Bradley County, Tennessee, of three counts of felony double voting in the 2020 and 2022 General Elections and in the 2022 Primary Election.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made a formal statement:

We give our thanks to Tennessee Election Coordinator Mr. Mark Goins for investigating this case, Volusia County Florida Supervisor of Elections Lisa Lewis for coordinating information, and Bradley County Assistant District Attorney General Mr. Joe Hoffer for a successful conviction.

It is vindicating to see our work lead to a successful conviction, and we look forward to more progress in the many pending cases that we are pursuing around the country.

While we have documented many cases of voter fraud, few are convicted due states and localities refusing to prioritize election integrity. We encourage state legislators to remedy this by dedicating resources for these prosecutions and for state and local law enforcement agencies to follow Bradley County’s lead and take voter fraud seriously.

Arkansas Makes Progress on Election Integrity with Permanent Investigative Unit

Washington, D.C. – Last week, the Arkansas State House and Senate passed HB 1513, which creates a permanent Election Integrity Unit (EIU) within the Attorney General’s office. Now the bill awaits Governor Sarah Huckabee Sander’s signature. This accomplishes one of Look Ahead America’s (LAA) six public policy objectives designed to improve voter confidence in elections.

Ian Camacho, LAA’s Director of Research, made the following statement:

We applaud the Arkansas legislature’s actions creating a permanent, standing office that will make investigating voter fraud incidences a priority. We especially thank Representative Austin McCollum and Senator Jim Petty for their leadership on this bill.

In too many other cases of apparent voter fraud that we’ve found around the country, we are told that investigations into these potential crimes is a third-tier priorities. By creating a dedicated unit within the Attorney General’s office, this will no longer be the case in Arkansas. Not only will this result in real investigations into potential fraud, it will also serve as a deterrent to anyone considering actions that will disenfranchise Arkansas voters.

We believe this will also encourage other states to follow Arkansas’ lead to help secure the voting process and restore the confidence of Americans in election results.

LAA Lauds Arkansas AG Tim Griffin for Creating an Election Integrity Unit

Washington, D.C. – On March 13 Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced the creation of an election integrity unit (EIU). Look Ahead America (LAA) praises his work in creating this to improve voter confidence in elections moving forward.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made the following statement:

We are thrilled that Arkansas is on the way to filling one of our six public policy objectives to improve voter integrity. Specifically, #5. Creation and Sufficient Funding for a Dedicated Voter Fraud Investigation Division within the State’s Attorney General’s Office.

The only thing left at this point is for Arkansas legislators to enshrine this unit into law so that a later administration cannot dismantle it nor alter its goals as we saw happen in Arizona under the new governor. Legislators must make sure that it has the jurisdiction to prosecute election fraud should a case get that far so as not to dismiss it either as we saw Texas do as well. Learn from the mistakes of other states and tie up the loose ends!

Keeping these offices protected by law with clear goals and authorities for prosecution will empower the state to handle voter fraud and help keep the citizens of Arkansas confident in future elections, as well as help to clean up past ones.

Recently, LAA also released an election integrity report card for 2023 prior to the announcement of the Arkansas EIU. For the full report, visit https://LookAheadAmerica.org/2023ReportCard.
