I’m a volunteer for Look Ahead America and I want to know what you’re going to do for the January 6th political prisoners, especially those who have not been charged with violent acts?

LAA Executive Director Matt Braynard made the following statement:

Thanks to the help of our volunteers, we will publicize and share these answers so that voters can make an informed decision about where these candidates for the highest office in the land stand on the most important civil rights issue of our day.

Look Ahead America Advances Election Integrity Legislation in North Carolina

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America (LAA) Community Organizer Erin LeCroy has led efforts to educate North Carolina legislators on Senate Bill 747 which passed the State Senate on Monday. The legislation vastly improves election integrity in North Carolina and advances many of LAA’s election integrity objectives.

Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, said:

This is one of the best single bills in the country to help ensure elections are clean and fair and we encourage North Carolina to pass it into law poste-haste.

From requiring greater mail-in ballot security to voter list hygiene to outlawing Zuckerbucks to opening the door to serious prosecution of voter fraud, this legislation accomplishes a lot.

And we’re also proud of the role our organization played in advancing the legislation under the local leadership of Erin LeCroy. She has demonstrated the real power of community organizing.

LAA Releases Updated May 2023 Legislative Report Card

Washington, D.C. – Today Look Ahead America (LAA) released a follow up to its 2023 legislative report card. The report evaluates state bills that reflect six election integrity objectives.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made the following statement:

We are glad to see more states stepping up to introduce election integrity bills since our report in February. While conservative states lead the way there are a handful of liberal ones that have started getting involved and introducing some decent bills as well.

As state legislatures wrap up their sessions, we cannot overstate the importance of introducing and passing election integrity bills in time for the 2024 Primaries and General Election in the next session. If you don’t see your state on here or are unimpressed with your state, please contact us to help get you in touch with your legislators on these items.

Look Ahead America: Yuma County Prosecutor Ignores Clear Evidence of Illegal Voting

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America Executive Director Matt Braynard made the following statement:

As a result of Look Ahead America’s election integrity research, Wisconsin Election Officials, the Yuma County Recorder Office, and the Yuma County Sheriff’s Department all agree that a crime has been committed involving a voter casting ballots in two different states in the 2020 General Election.

Despite this universal conclusion that a Class 5 Felony had been committed, the Yuma County Attorney’s office claims that there is still “insufficient evidence” to pursue the case. We encourage the people of Arizona to encourage the County Attorney to re-examine this evidence.

The most common form of voter fraud is caused by individuals casting ballots they are not entitled to cast. This disenfranchises legal voters. When prosecutors ignore violations of election law, it sends the message that voter fraud is acceptable and encourages it.

A summary of the supporting documents can be found here: https://LookAheadAmerica.org/AZDVSummary.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release in May 2022, which mentioned 16 open investigations into voting fraud, including double voting. LAA’s find was one of these 16: https://www.yumacountysheriff.org/pr-2022/PR-2022-30-Yuma-County-Voting-Fraud.pdf.

Look Ahead America Officially Has 132 Election Fraud Cases Open, 111 in Texas

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America (LAA) has officially opened 132 election fraud cases open in several states, including a whopping 111 alone in Texas. The other states are Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

LAA is publishing a list of cases officially opened, successfully closed cases such as in Tennessee with Emily Jessop Bowers, and a handful of cases not pursued but still prosecutable under the statute of limitations. All will remain redacted until the cases are complete or publicly released.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, made a formal statement:

We are grateful that the states of Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin have kept us in the loop in regards to the progress and investigations in all of our election fraud submissions.

We hope to see most if not all of these cases come to a successful conclusion in which not only justice is served, but also faith and trust in our state government and elections gets rebuilt and restored.

LAA Shares New Episode of The Political Prisoner Podcast with Brad Rukstales

The Political Prisoner Podcast • Brad Rukstales

After hearing ½ of Trump’s speech, @brad_rukstales turned on the TV to see people with American flags at the Capitol building. He wanted a picture! With no barriers and no violence he walked up the stairs with a large crowd. Police were casually talking to a protester, not telling them they shouldn’t go through a wide open, undamaged door. Some people nearby were tackled. He turned to leave, was tackled by an officer and dragged into a hallway.

Look Ahead America Praises GA for Banning Zuckerbucks, AR for Election Integrity Unit

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America (LAA) issued a celebratory statement regarding Georgia passing SB 222 last week. The law closes the so-called “Zuckerbucks” loophole previously allowed under SB 202.

LAA also praised Arkansas for its Election Integrity Unit within the Attorney General’s office for passing into law. The EIU now has legal authority to prosecute election fraud cases.

Ian Camacho, Director of Research, stated:

Both Arkansas and Georgia have done an excellent job in tightening up election integrity and to ensure that elections have a fairer outcome.

Keeping private, partisan donations out of state races will ensure that resources are fairly and evenly distributed. This will ensure that everyone in Georgia, regardless of county or political leaning, will have equal access to voting materials and opportunities.

Arkansas’ legally codified EIU in the AG’s office wisely avoids the mistakes of its predecessors in both Texas and Arizona. With the full authority to investigate and prosecute election fraud, it not only expedites the process, but more importantly it restores voter confidence and faith in the electoral process for those who have lost faith.
