Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America (LAA) has successfully filed cases involving P.O. Box registrations and double voters with the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC), despite its warnings about LAA and The Voter Integrity Project. One Wisconsin LAA volunteer has also successfully challenged 365 ineligible voters in Barron County as well.
Matt Braynard, Executive Director of LAA, stated before his arrival in Wisconsin:
The recent impeachment of WEC administrator Meagan Wolfe was justified given that WEC had previously threatened LAA volunteers with $500 fines for reporting potential registration issues, outright dismissed several cases without further review, and informed its clerks that they did not have to respond to any of our questions. It still has not informed us about our cases we filed last year.
Fortunately, our volunteers have done the heavy legwork and grinding to get the evidence on the record and also successfully remove ineligible voters despite overwhelming pressure from WEC and the state government to stop them. We encourage all Wisconsinites to keep up the good fight, and we will do our best to help you.
