Announcement: LAA Receives Official 501c3 Certification

Today, LAA’s Executive Director Matt Braynard made the formal announcement:

“I am pleased that after several back-and-forths with the IRS, we have succeeded in receiving our certification as a 501c3 non-profit organization. This is a tremendous benefit in that it allows us to solicit donations with the assurance to our donors that the contributions are, indeed, tax free.

“While some organizations may struggle with the restraints that come with c3 status, we embrace them. Our primary objective to register, educate, and turnout disaffected, patriotic Americans is not beholden to any political party but to the idea of America where the border is secured, the law and order is enforced, and terrorist threats are crushed.”

Virginia Election: Look Ahead America’s Disaffected Patriot GOTV and Ballot Integrity/Poll Monitoring Efforts

Arlington, Virginia— Look Ahead America engaged in two efforts for the Virginia statewide election: turning out inactive, patriotic voters and monitoring polling places on Election Day.

“We engaged in a very experimental effort to turnout voters whom we identified as having patriotic beliefs but had not voted since 2009,” said Matt Braynard, LAA’s executive director. “We hit these people with a comprehensive package of direct mail, paid and volunteer phone calls, robocalls, social media ads, and door knocking to educate them on how and where to vote and why voting is so important.

“I knocked on many doors in the Northern Virginia area and met face-to-face with citizens who’d fallen into the cynical trap of believing their vote doesn’t matter. When the turnout data becomes available, we’ll be able to evaluate how effective our effort was so we can learn and adjust our efforts for future elections in other states.”

LAA’s poll monitoring operation received authorization from county boards of elections across the state to allow twenty-six volunteers to observe election day operations inside of polling places.

“Based on my own observations and the feedback from our poll watching team, I can say that, at least where we were present, the local election officials faithfully followed the lawful procedures,” said LAA’s Strategy Director Witold Chrabaszcz, who coordinated the operation. “We did observe a few occasions where polling staff could benefit from better education on the relatively recent voter ID laws. Nonetheless, they worked diligently to ensure the election laws were followed.”

“We’d like to thank the many volunteers who helped with our GOTV and poll monitoring effort,” said Braynard. “We’ll be announcing our next operation shortly and are counting on their help and the help of many more to make it a success.”

LAA Response to Ray Buckley Slur

Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, has made this comment on Ray Buckley’s slur:

“New Hampshire Democrat Chairman Ray Buckley’s “White supremacist” slur against disaffected rural and blue-collar Americans is despicable and unhinged. His suggestion that these patriotic citizens exercising their right to vote would be “detrimental to the culture” is fundamentally un-American.

“Ray Buckley is a leader of one of the two major parties in this country, and he has had his say. The question now is whether the rest of his party stands with him in this assault on our most marginalized, most ignored, and most vulnerable citizens. Will they condone his remarks with silence or condemn them with loud voices? The nation is watching.”

Look Ahead America is a 501(c)(3) (IRS application pending) organization with the primary objective of registering, educating, and turning out to vote disaffected, patriotic rural and blue-collar Americans.  We do not support or endorse parties or candidates. We do not base any of our efforts on race and will never turn away a citizen who requests our help in registering to vote.

Launch Week Media Roundup

We were successful in getting good media for our first week!

The New York Times: “Ex-Trump Aides Hunt for Untapped Voters, and Proof of Fraud.”

The Huffington Post: “Trump Campaign Alumni Start Group Focused On Voter Registration And Fraud.”

The Daily Beast: “Donald Trump Allies Push Legal Limits in Building the ‘ACORN of the Right’.”

Despite the left-wing leanings of these publications, the coverage was overall favorable. We were also featured on the nationally-syndicated Wayne Allen Root program, and you can give a listen here.

LOOK AHEAD AMERICA: Over Thirty Former Trump Campaign Staffers Form New Voter Registration Organization Targeting Disaffected, Patriotic Americans

Washington DC, August 16, 2017 — Under the leadership of former Trump for President Data Strategy chiefs Matt Braynard and Witold Chrabaszcz, over thirty former Trump campaign staffers have launched a new 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to registering, educating, and re-enfranchising disaffected, patriotic Americans.

“There are millions of rural and blue-collar citizens who are disaffected and disenfranchised from the nation’s corridors of power. Their fears ignored, their priorities dismissed, their values ridiculed, they’ve become cynical and pessimistic about a government that so often does not hear their voices,” said Matt Braynard, the new group’s Executive Director.

“Our primary objective is to register, educate, and enfranchise these fellow citizens and ensure that their voices are not just heard but heeded on issues from immigration to trade to law and order. We will fight to make the American Dream become their dreams again.”

“We are positioning to counterweight the Soros’s and Acorns of the world,” said Witold Chrabaszcz, the organization’s Strategy Director. “Our team has the experience, the technology, and the know-how. We’ve amassed a database of millions of unregistered adults and inactive voters. Using our latest modeling techniques, we can find and help re-engage this forgotten demographic through modern and traditional field operations.”

The organization plans to launch a pilot project in Virginia this year with multiple field offices and the goal of expanding to over a dozen more states in 2018.

Consistent with laws governing 501(c)(3) organizations, Look Ahead America’s operations and objectives are not based on political party affiliation or to benefit any particular candidate.
