LAA Releases Analysis of 13 Virginia Election Integrity Bills

Washington, D.C. – Look Ahead America’s (LAA) Research Group recently reviewed 13 bills from the state of Virginia, all of them involving election integrity: S.B. 794, 844, 880, 900, 968, and H.B. 1377, 1444, 1467, 1499, 1847, 1877, 1901, 1947.

Ian Camacho, LAA Director of Research, made the following statement:

These 13 bills cover a wide variety of election integrity issues and concerns voiced by the great state of Virginia. While we hope that virtually all of the proposed reforms pass, in particular we are excited about H.B. 1377, which has progressed to the Senate as it most closely reflects one of our six election integrity objectives.

Should that pass, then it will be another victory for LAA, alongside South Carolina’s S.B. 108 and Arizona’s H.B. 2492 that have adopted our ideas to cleaning up and strengthening voter integrity. More importantly, it will be a victory for the state of Virginia and for the people of the United States of America knowing that their votes are better protected.
